In the first week, CIT campers delve into all facets of a counselor's role, mirroring Camp's staff training. Engaging activities cover topics such as basic child development, behavior management, counseling techniques, communication and leadership, environmental stewardship, and community service. The second week acts as an internship, placing CITs with cabin groups to shadow counselors and gain hands-on experience, providing a firsthand understanding of the responsibilities and rewards of being a summer camp counselor.
